Hosted by the Environmental League to raise funds for Environmental League and NAF Academy chapters, this exciting woods trail run takes place through the beautiful and wildly wooded area of the DORBA-managed Harry Moss DORBA Trails Park. As you enjoy the serene setting, you’ll also learn about the conservation projects undertaken by members of the Environmental League Chapters, GreenTeam members of GroundWork Dallas, and members of the NAF Academies.

Your ticket to this race helps support our Environmental League chapter members’ efforts to improve our environment and their learning about business and environmental conservation. Even though this is a wild run through beautiful wooded trails, this is still a CHIP-TIMED RACE. Come see how your road-warrior time holds up against a wood trails course! This is a mild obstacle course: at 10+ stations, runners have to do a simple exercise (eg, 3 air squats or 2 burpees, etc). Runners can “buy out” of the exercise by dropping a piece of litter off at the student-manned station as they run by. Our Environmental League chapter students have picked up over 400 fifty-gallon bags of litter from this park — show them you appreciate what they’ve done and are doing by joining our race!

Stick around after the race for awards, food, fun, and some environmental education. Learn about what these kids are doing to help improve your urban environment today!

And if you want to get even more involved, we’ll show you how!
