Clear your schedule for the 10th annual Keep Austin Weird Festival and 5K. Anything is possible at this decade-old Austin extravaganza! You can run, skip or race three-legged through the streets of downtown Austin wearing the wackiest costume in your closet (the weirder the look, the more you’ll fit in!)
Whether gasping for air from laughter or lack of physical activity, we’ll have a variety of fun stops along the route so you can catch your breath before making it to the finish line. Some of the checkpoints have included Austin favorites like Amy’s Ice Creams and Austin’s Pizza. Shots of Republic Tequila could also be in your near future at the 5K…
Unofficially known as “the slowest 5K you’ll ever run,” you won’t want to miss this year! Each registered participant will receive free entry into the Keep Austin Weird Festival with live music and local Austin grub, drink and craft vendors.
